01Cards And Transactions
11 questions- The taxes and fees included in your total are provided directly by our hotel suppliers. They combine all applicable local, state, and hotel-occupancy taxes, along with a booking convenience fee. These amounts are not itemized when we receive them.
Rest assured, your total price includes taxes and fees required to complete your reservation. - While you will find helpful details in your confirmation email, we recommend contacting the hotel directly for the most up-to-date information.
- The service fee is a standard per-trip booking fee, which helps support the technology that gives you access to our expansive hotel availability and 24/7 support.
- No. The service fee provides 24/7 support before, during, and after your booking. It’s included in your total cost, though it may appear separately on your billing statement for transparency.
- It depends on your reservation. Some bookings are “pay now” while others are “pay later”. In either case, the total includes the full amount, except for any additional fees the hotel may collect directly. Please see our next FAQ on hotel-related charges for more details.
- For all “pay now” room rates, your total (including applicable taxes and fees) is fully paid. However, some hotels may collect additional charges directly at the property. This can include resort fees, energy surcharges, parking fees, pet fees, minibar purchases, gratuities, and any incidental charges.
Charges like these will be collected from you directly from the hotel unless otherwise indicated at the time of booking. - Banks may temporarily display pending or duplicate charges before automatically correcting them. This can vary depending on your bank or card provider.
Multiple charges for the same amount are likely to be authorization charges and will drop off within 48 to 72 hours, depending on your bank. Please contact your financial institution about how your bank handles pending transactions for more information.
If these charges do not fall off your account within that timeframe or if something doesn’t look correct, please contact us at 833-435-0413. - Some banks will show all transaction attempts, even if they’re not completed. These may appear as preauthorization or pending charges, but no payment was processed.
- Rates can vary by the day of the week and overall demand. For example, weekends and holidays are more popular travel times, so prices may be higher.
- Room rates are based on availability and promotions and can fluctuate frequently. Occasionally, hotels may later offer special promotions that result in a lower price. The rate you received was the best rate available at the time of your booking.
We apologize for any inconvenience and are happy to answer any additional questions or address any concerns you may have. - We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

- No, refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment. If your credit card number has changed but the account is the same, the refund will be processed successfully.
For questions about your specific account, we recommend contacting your financial institution directly. - The difference is likely due to changing exchange rates, which fluctuate daily.
- Eligible refunds are released within 24 business hours, once they’ve been approved. Most banks post the refund within three to 10 business days, depending on processing times.
If it has been longer than 10 business days, please contact your card issuer for an update.
Please note, non-refundable reservations are not eligible for a refund. - When a customer proactively files a dispute or chargeback, this action supersedes all other attempts being made to assist the customer in the refund process. We can no longer work on their case. All refund decisions are made between the customer’s financial institution and the merchant of record once the dispute has been initiated. Once a decision has been made, these decisions are final. For all updates regarding your dispute, please contact your financial institution for further assistance.
